About me

I was born in 1999 in Paris, France. I was always drawn to music, it's only in 2022 during a live screenplay of Lord of the Rings : The two Towers with live musician that i realised that creating music was the thing I wanted to do.

Since then I've learned through online courses (Scoreclub and Master the Score) and mentorship (Christopher Siu's Inner Circle and Virtual Composer Summit). I'm spending most of my time writing new and original music for my ongoing projects. I've already worked with Gum tapes on two different albums, and for the video game Nevermourn.

My music aims to perfectly fit the project I'm working on, to do so I like varying the style I'm writing in. Even though I can write in certain styles, I prefer experimenting and searching to mix and match different aspects from varied inspirations to create a new and original musical soundscape.

My inspirations

The darkest

The dark and epic music of Dark Souls 1 by Motoi sakuraba, then followed by Dark Souls 2 and the conjoint work of both Sakuraba and Yuka kitamura were the foundation of the Soulslike style of music, with Dark Souls 3 being the great finale. This style has been a great inspiration since I've played the games, especially the work of Kitamura in Dark Souls 3, with those epic and dark yet lyrical and beautiful epic pieces that elevated the bossfights. The dark and atmospheric music of Diablo 2 and the Lord of Destruction DLC composed by Matt Uelmen were also an inspiration since I've first played them, more than 20 years ago.

The emotional

The work of Joe Hisaishi for the Studio Ghibli movies and Takeshi Kitano's movies are some of the most emotive and beautiful themes i can think of when it comes to music that puts emotion at the forefront, and it will always be a source of great inspiration. John Williams's music is powerful and full of life, it has shaped the way i write music in a lot of ways and is one of my main inspiration.

The epic

Masayoshi Soken's work for Final Fantasy XVI elevated what epic video game music meant to me to a new height, and has been a huge inspiration since the release of the game. The combined work of Glenn Stafford, Derek Duke, Neal Acree and Russell Brower for the Stracraft II Wings of Liberty soundtrack remains one of my favorite to this day and will always inspire me. The soundtrack of World of Warcraft, especially the Warlord of Draenor expansion will always be an example of epicness and power that will serve as great inspiration.

The peaceful ambiance

When it comes to peaceful ambient music all i can think of is the work of Jason Hayes and the Blizzard composer team on the original release of World of Warcraft, it's my main source of inspiration for this style of music. Jeremy Soule's music is also something that inspired me since i played Morrowind, and mostly since Skyrim.
